The SMCM staff would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Lisa Crowe for her 37 years of service and to Rich Edgar for his 25 years of service to our campus community.
Thank you for your generosity shown to Rich and I August 1st with your time as well as your thoughtfulness with a gift. It was amazing to see the turnout and the sentiments expressed in the books as well as in your chats. And I missed chatting with everyone—you who got away without any ‘thank yous’ directly from me, but I’ll remember the faces around the room. I especially appreciate the staff that came out, as they were people I saw the most often and I understand the many hours of work they give to the college as well. Us ordinary people who work behind the scenes who do so much to make this place work—we’re everywhere, and we know to be kind to each other. Sometimes the biggest words you can say consists of two small ones …’thank you.’
