Recruiter
St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the position of Recruiter. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources the Recruiter is responsible for managing all College recruitment. Will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the institution. Assists with the development of and coordinates the implementation of recruitment related policies and programs. Manages the day-to-day operation of recruitment.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. At least three (3) years of experience managing recruitment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet applications, database software and HRIS and Applicant Tracking software is required. Must have strong verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and excellent customer service skills. Demonstrates energy and enthusiasm in achieving goals; takes ownership of assignments. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess self-initiative, outstanding time management skills, excellent leadership skills. Ability to conduct training. Must possess the ability and desire to deal tactfully with others in the workplace and the community. Must possess a valid driver’s license, travel overnight occasionally as required, and be able to lift at least twenty (20) pounds.
Preferred qualifications include: AIRS or ASA recruiting certification; Recruiting and Talent Acquisition experience; and experience with market salary survey reporting software.
