CDC Coronavirus Self-Checker

Please use this interactive tool to assess your health risks if you have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus or feel ill.  Contact the Wellness Center after you complete the self-checker if you need further information.

The Coronavirus Self-Checker is an interactive clinical assessment tool that will assist individuals ages 13 and older, and parents and caregivers of children ages 2 to 12 on deciding when to seek testing or medical care if they suspect they or someone they know has contracted COVID-19 or has come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19.

The online, mobile-friendly tool asks a series of questions, and based on the user’s responses, provides recommended actions and resources.

Covid-19 Testing on/off Campus & Reporting

The Wellness Center is doing regular weekly Antigen testing for the Unvaccinated Students/Employees.

The available times for this is as follows:

Monday: 8:00AM-10:30AM, 3:00PM-5:00PM
Tuesday: 2:00PM-5:00PM
Wednesday: 8:00AM-10:30AM, 12:00PM-2:00PM
Thursday: 2:00PM-5:00PM
Friday: 8:00AM-10:30AM, 3:00PM-5:00PM

We are not doing ‘On-Demand’ Covid-19 testing. Students who are showing Covid-19 symptoms may come during our Walk-in hours to be screened by our Staff RN. Once seen, the Staff RN can determine if an appointment with our Nurse Practitioner is necessary to receive a Covid-19 PCR test.

If someone you have been in close proximity with is waiting on a test result, assess your situation and symptoms to determine if you need to come during our Walk-in hours for a screening. Also remember to wear your mask, keep your distance, and sanitize your hands.

Here is information for students and employees to get tested off-campus.

The Health Department through Mako Medical in Leonardtown also has Covid-19 testing with a pre-register option for reduced wait time.

If you get tested OFF campus and your results come back POSITIVE, you need to notify the Wellness Center so we can begin the proper Isolation/ Quarantine Protocols.

Students, faculty and staff are asked to complete this SELF-REPORT form. You can also use this form to alert the Wellness Center staff a concern about a roommate/friend/classmate who may be sick with Covid-19 symptoms.
