Rhoda-Stark Memorial Award in Gender Studies

- research and writing on gay, lesbian, or gender issues
- activism on or off-campus on behalf of the gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered communities
- performing arts, culminating in the public performance of a work that addresses gay, lesbian, or gender issues

Margaret E. Keen Award
The Margaret E. Keene Award is provided by the St. Mary’s Chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), and is given to a senior woman who personifies the purpose of the AAUW: commitment to life-long learning, the advancement of women, and responsibility to society. Based on nominations from the faculty and staff at SMCM, a faculty/staff committee selects recipients for this award.
