CROSSROADS 2015 will retain a focus on the local natural, cultural, and historical environment – the literal and metaphoric paths, or ground, we walk – and will use music, dance, poetry, humor, and drama in exploring dynamic intersections of identity and power in our institutional history and in this age of selfies and social media. A diverse group of performers will share their own stories in search of common ground and invite the audience to join them in reflecting on the societal and personal relationships that have shaped the past and are manifested in the present.
Department of Theater, Film, and Media Studies > Events > Crossroads: On Common Ground opens Wed., Nov. 18, runs through Sun., Nov. 22, Bruce Davis Theater, Montgomery Hall, $
