Professor Emerita Taylor Publishes New Book Examining St. Mary’s County

Professor Emerita of Theater, Film and Media Studies (Dance) Merideth Taylor’s new book “Listening In: Echoes and Artifacts from Maryland’s Mother County,” (University of Virginia Press, 2018) will be published this June. Alumna St. George Jones ’94 Named Director of Artistic Programming for Confluence Arts Center

Brenna St. George Jones (Theater ’94) has been hired as the director of artistic programming for the Confluence Arts Center. The Confluence Arts Center, scheduled to open in fall 2018 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, will include a 1,200-seat theatre and a flexible 400-seat theatre. Eli Ayres wins Visionary Award for “One Way Town”

Leonard Cruz to Perform “Falling Man” at the Judson Church Theater in New York

Leonard Cruz, assistant professor of theater, movement, and dance, will perform “Falling Man” at the Judson Church Theater in New York City on March 14. This performance follows a talk Dr. Cruz gave in February at the Colloquium of African Diaspora Dance at Duke University.
