Professor Christine Adams Publishes New Book with Cambridge Scholars Press

Professor of History Christine Adams recently published the book “Female Beauty Systems: Beauty as Social Capital in Western Europe and the United States, Middle Ages to the Present” (Cambridge Scholars Press, 2015). The book is a collection of nine essays. St. Mary’s College Professor of English Jennifer Cognard-Black and Professor of History Gail Savage were contributors.

St. Mary’s College Professors Secure Fulbright Grants

Two St. Mary’s College of Maryland professors have received Fulbright Scholar grants for research and teaching abroad. Fulbright to West Africa

Brodsky Awarded Franklin Research Grant

February 10, 2015

Adriana Brodsky, associate professor of history, has earned a $4,000 research grant from the American Philosophical Society in order to advance her study, “Navigating Multiple Diasporas: Argentine Sephardi Youth at home and in Israel, 1948-1976.” With this grant, Brodsky will be able to work in three Israeli archives and at the National Israeli library. Adams Publishes Op-Ed in RH Reality Check

Kenneth Cohen Featured on NPR’s “BackStory”
