Professor of History Christine Adams recently published the book “Female Beauty Systems: Beauty as Social Capital in Western Europe and the United States, Middle Ages to the Present” (Cambridge Scholars Press, 2015). Brodsky Awarded Franklin Research Grant
Adriana Brodsky, associate professor of history, has earned a $4,000 research grant from the American Philosophical Society in order to advance her study, “Navigating Multiple Diasporas: Argentine Sephardi Youth at home and in Israel, 1948-1976.” With this grant, Brodsky will be able to work in three Israeli archives and at the National Israeli library.
