Maija Harkonen, executive director of the Center for the Study of Democracy, taught a three-week course in November 2017 at Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Harkonen’s 50 graduate students are studying to be diplomats or to work in international business fields. Her course topic: “U.S. Foreign Policy and Russia: Challenges and Opportunities.”
