Gideon Singer ’13 Earns Fulbright Award

Gideon Singer ’13 (anthropology) has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant to Australia in anthropology from the U.S. Dept. of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Singer will be conducting an ethnographic project investigating electronic waste and sustainable practices in Adelaide, South Australia. St. Mary’s College, Calvert County Partner to Document Piscataway Indian Historic Sites

January 13, 2016

St. Mary’s College of Maryland in partnership with the Calvert County Historic Preservation Commission recently received funding from the National Park Service’s Underrepresented Communities Grant. The College and CCHPC will work with the Piscataway Conoy Tribe to document seven historically significant Piscataway Indian landscapes in Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s counties. Assistant Professor Liza Gijanto Awarded Funding from Preservation Maryland

Bailey, King Honored with Aldom-Plansoen Distinguished Professorships

Mystery Ring Unearthed by St. Mary’s College Faculty, Students Believed to Belong to Charles Calvert
