St. Mary’s College of Maryland is included in AdvisoryHQ News’s ranking of Best Colleges in Maryland. According to AdvisoryHQ News, “St. Mary’s College of Maryland has lots to offer students who want a small class size and wonderful academics.”
St. Mary’s College is the only public college included in the list. On St. Mary’s College’s small class sizes, AdvisoryHQ continued, “The student population is small at St. Mary’s, especially when you consider that public colleges in Maryland are often more likely to have larger enrollments. They have a ten to one student-faculty ratio, which is one of the lowest among all of the best colleges in Maryland on our ranking.”
St. Mary’s College also was recognized recently as a 2017-18 College of Distinction, acknowledged in the 2018 edition of the Fiske Guide to Colleges and in The Best 380 Colleges review book by The Princeton Review, and ranked among the “Best Colleges for Your Money” by Money magazine.
