Over 100 St. Mary’s College of Maryland student-athletes were among the record 1,500 Capital Athletic Conference student-athletes named to the 2016-17 All-Academic Team.
The 146 students named from St. Mary’s represents over half the student-athlete population at the College, 56.2 percent.
The 1,500 honorees mark the sixth time in CAC history that over 1,000 student-athletes have earned All-Academic recognition.
Student-athletes in one or more CAC championship sports that attain a 3.20 grade point average (GPA) for the academic year earn a spot on the All-Academic team.
