President Tuajuanda Jordan delivered the keynote address entitled “Leadership and Collaboration Across Boundaries” at the 2017 Capital PKAL Regional Network Conference at Morgan State University on April 14, 2017.
During the conference, Dr. Jordan was awarded Morgan State University’s first annual Trailblazer Award for contributions she has made to STEM throughout her career, including creating the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Science Education Alliance and launching the SEA Phage program, which has since engaged thousands of undergraduates at more than 50 institutions across the country in bioinformatics and genomics research.
