One June 2, St. Mary’s students departed America to go on a 26-day study tour of Greece. The itinerary for the trip included trips to the ancient cities of Athens, Corinth, Nemea, and various other famous classical and historical sites. While there, students participated in the sixth Nemead, which taught them about the four Pan-Hellenic game sites. They also participated in a modern revival of the games. The study tour included a visit to the beautiful Mediterranean island of Chios. All students who participated in the tour earned four upper-level credits.
