Twenty students were joined by President Tuajuanda C. Jordan as this year’s inductees to Phi Beta Kappa’s Zeta Chapter of St. Mary’s College of Maryland in a ceremony held April 7, 2015 at the historic State House of St. Mary’s City. Phi Beta Kappa is the nation’s oldest academic honor society, dating back to 1776. Election to membership is based on academic achievement in the liberal arts and sciences, breadth of intellectual interests and good moral character.
