Caitlin O’Neill ’15 was recently awarded a scholarship from The School for Field Studies to study with their organization in Tanzania. Founded in 1980, The School for Field Studies strives to provide students with a meaningful study abroad experience through a focus on field work and study.
At St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Caitlin is studying biology, environmental science as well as women, gender and sexuality studies. She hopes to pursue a career centered on wildlife rehabilitation and endangered species conservation. Outside of the classroom, Caitlin is involved in FUSE (Feminists United for Sexual Equality), and the Nitze Scholar program. At home she volunteers with a local wildlife rehabilitation center.
