Professor Alan Jamieson Receives NCWIT 2014 Undergraduate Research Mentoring Award

Assistant Professor of Computer Science Alan Jamieson has been selected as one of 12 recipients of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) 2014 Undergraduate Research Mentoring Award. The Computer Science Program at St. Mary’s College of Maryland has been awarded $5,000 for Jamieson’s research with undergraduate students. The gift is sponsored by AT&T. The award will be presented at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa in Newport Beach, Calif. on May 20 at 9 a.m.
