Director for Research and Sponsored Programs Sabine Dillingham is senior author of an article about the evolutionary history of yellow-fever mosquitoes in Florida. The article, entitled Phylogeography of Aedes aegypti (Yellow Fever Mosquito) in South Florida: mtDNA Evidence for Human-Aided Dispersal, is based on collaboration with her former Ph.D. student Kavitha Damal, among others; it was recently published in the journal of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
