Professor of Sociology Louis Hicks and his colleague Paul Kingston of the University of Virginia, have published a chapter entitled “The United States: Changing Recognition of Racial and Ethnic Diversity” in a new book from McGill-Queen’s University Press, Multicultural Variations: Social Incorporation in Europe and North America.
The book is the 13th in a series produced by the International Research Group for the Comparative Charting of Social Change. Hicks has been associated with the group for the past fifteen years.
