Associate Professor of Biology John Ramcharitar presented a poster titled, “Lateral Line – Evoked Potentials (LLEPs): An Effective Tool for Investigating Ototoxicity,” at the Underwater Bioacoustics Symposium in Sarasota, Florida. Student co-authors included Samuel Knecht and James Tomkinson, who contributed significantly to the development and refinement of a novel physiological technique for assessing drug toxicity in hair cells of the goldfish lateral line system. This work was supported by a research grant (CFAR) provided by the Capita Foundation.
