Dr. Lynn Brostoff, of the Library of Congress, will discuss “Using Science to Unlock the Secrets of Art and Historical Artifacts” at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011, in Schaefer Hall at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. This is part of an ongoing Natural Science and Mathematics Colloquium and is free and open to the public.
Brostoff is a scientist in the Preservation Research and Testing Division of the Library. She has worked at the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum Conservation Institute and the National Gallery of Art.
