STARS (St. Mary’s Triangle and Rainbow Society) is the main LGBTQ club on campus. They host regular meetings, plan events, and work with LGBTQ Student Services on campus-wide projects like SMCM Pride Month and National Coming Out Day.
FUSE (Feminists United for Sexual Equality) is a group that hosts regular meetings and events, and discusses feminist and women’s issues and how they intersect with gender and sexual identity.
WGSX (Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies) Department has a number of classes cross-listed with WGSX every semester, and hosts events like the Colloquium and the Transcending Boundaries Conference. Their faculty come from a broad range of subjects and backgrounds, and are well-versed in a wide array of gender and sexuality – related topics.
Transgenda (to be announced): A club that gives a space and a voice to transgender, nonbinary, and otherwise non-cisgender students.
