Equipment Room Manager
St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the 12-month position of Equipment Room Manager. Responsible for supervising equipment room staff, including student workers. Manages all athletic and recreation equipment issue and access. Primary contact and order distributor with BSN Sports and Under Armour (UA). Oversees and reports any maintenance concerns to the building manager to ensure that work orders get placed with the physical plant office. Responsible for the facility set-up for various events within the department, involving both the campus and community.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software or Google Docs and Sheets. Experience in game management and event set up and breakdown. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds. Ability to work nights and weekends. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination, medical and religious exemptions will be considered.
