If you are enrolled in one of the State of Maryland Health Benefit Plans {Carefirst BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS) or United Healthcare} – below is some important information you need to know regarding FLU SHOTS.

• As a result of healthcare reform flu shots are now covered under all medical plans
• The shots must be provided by an in-network provider
• Flu Shots provided by a  Pharmacist are not covered in-network

Should you choose not to go with your primary care provider, please review the lists and/or sites below for additional in-network providers:

United Healthcare
