Anderson and Gabriel invited to “Fall for the Book”

Professor Cognard-Black Leads Workshops at Sandy Spring Museum
Professor Jennifer Cognard-Black will be appearing at the Sandy Spring Museum for a series of workshops, “Edible Essays,” beginning September 19. Participants will develop extended memoir essays based on a family recipe. The workshops will conclude with a reading a potluck on November 8.

Professor Beth Charlebois presented her paper “With Rhyme and Reason: Hip Hop Hamlet in Prison” at the Comparative Drama Conference in Baltimore this past March. Professor Jeff Hammond receives acclaim
Professor Jeff Hammond’s essay, “Confronting Death: The Early American Elegy,” appears in The Cambridge History of American Poetry (Cambridge University Pess, 2014). His essay from The Cream City Review, “The Hunter-Gatherers of Findlay, Ohio,” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
