Nuclear Safety at Calvert Cliffs
The recent nuclear accident at Fukushima Daiichi in Japan has raised concerns in the United States regarding the safety of reactors. The forum will examine whether factors that led to the Fukushima disaster had any effect on the safety of the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant. The League of Women Voters are conducting this forum as a public service in response to concerns raised by citizens of Southern Maryland.
